Extended Driving Test Preparation

If you have been convicted of a serious driving offence the courts may order you to retake a driving test. For the most serious offences an extended driving test will need to be passed before you are allowed back on the road.

Attempting the test

Before attempting the test you will need to pass your theory test. The extended driving test will last about 70 minutes in total. It takes the same format as the normal L Test, but you will have to demonstrate that you can drive safely and legally for 30% more time.

Preparation for this test is important. We need to analyse your driving, overcome any bad habits that may have been developed and most importantly develop a good attitude to driving and other road users.
